The DMCR relay is a multifunction safety device designed for hermetically sealed oil-filled distribution transformers. It combines four key protection functions into a single compact unit: pressure, temperature, dielectric level, and gas monitoring.

The relay continuously monitors internal transformer conditions to detect faults early and ensure safe operation. Its robust and proven design provides long-term reliability in demanding environments.

Two key design features make it stand out:

  • 360° visibility of dielectric level through a transparent housing
  • Integrated magnetic protection shielding the Reed switch from external interference

Main components include:

  • Two adjustable thermostats for overheating detection (30°C to 120°C)
  • A thermometer with maximum temperature indicator
  • A magnetic switch for dielectric level monitoring
  • An adjustable pressure switch for overpressure detection (100 to 500 mbar)
  • Gas detection system using float indicators

Manufactured in compliance with IEC 60076-22-1 / EN 50216-3 standards, the DMCR is rated IK10 and IP56 for high durability and protection.

Each unit is fully tested under real operating conditions (hot oil under pressure) to verify all functions, ensure leak-tightness, and adjust settings according to customer requirements.
